Also, we had a Tournament/Clothes Drive this past Sunday. We were able to collect at least 20 bags of clothing to donate. This is a great way to give back to the community, and expose the game of handball in a positive light.

We will be having another Tournament along with a Food Drive on Sunday, 10/18/2009. I will posted on the events section.

NEW Olympic news.....

I've been in communication with the CEO of International Raquetball Federation and questioning how to get handball administered by an Int'l Federation. He states that it is a very long, very complex time consuming process that could take a couple of years. I expected this to happen.

Some of the requirements are being incorporated as a non profit organization and associating with at least 10 other countries to create an International Federation. We need to look into getting associated with USHA in order for me to continue this venture. USHA has been around for a long time and looking at their recent past they have showed more attention to Big Ball. USHA already deals with International Groups, but I'm not certain if any of them are considered International Federations.....

FHL,

I just wanted the share with you the success of our inaugural season. We had a banquet this past Friday at the Comfort Suites Hotel in South Bethlehem. It was great to celebrate all the hard work and effort everyone put into the season.

We ate. We drank. We danced. We cheered. We gave out trophies, and plaques, and Appreciation Certificates. And most importantly, we crowned our 1st League Champions: The Handball Gods!!!!!

We just had a great time.

Although the handball community is small, we became powerful by uniting for a common passion: HANDBALL. It was a plasure meeting with Que when he came down to visit us here in Allentown. I know you are in the process of doing something similar. Please do not hesitate to contact me for any input. I wish you all the best. I know FHL is going to represent the game of handball well.

ALL FLORIDA.... should be enough.... specifying counties makes people not feel welcome from other counties.. I know that's not our attitude as players and people, but again looking from out of state standpoint ALL FLORIDA looks better.. More universal to people visiting FL no matter what part their staying in.
