Hey Guys & Gals,

I've created some very useful, easy to read and organize tournament chart and score card. I suggest everyone start using these for future tournaments. No offense to the creator of the original tournament chart, but this one is easier to use and read.

The tournament chart is easier to write on if you print on legal size paper. Leave it blank, keep it on a clip board and fill it in throughout the tournament. The next day fill the chart with typing instead of handwriting and post where ever you like.

What to do when its an odd number?
8, 16, 32, & 64 are even tournament numbers. By's, can happen at anytime during a tournament depending on when the number of teams left reach an odd number like 3, 5, 7, 9 etc.... When this happens this should be the pattern to follow. Let use 7 for example.

Team 1 plays 2 (score is 21-6), 3 plays 4 (score is 21-12), and 5 plays 6 (21-19)... 7th Team plays the winner of the game that had the biggest win by points. Team 1 would play team 7 since they had the biggest win over thier opponent. It's the only logical way of running these odd number tournaments....

For the tourney that happend this weekend with 12 teams.... The buy would have happend in the 3rd round using my formula above. Start with 12 teams, then 6 teams, then 3 teams. This would lessen confusion.

The score card is self explanitory.
