Handball City has been cutting edge since the start, we 1st brought you the myspace of Handball...called HandballCity.me which has changed hands and is now called "Smack it Sports".

I hope we have many more cool Handball websites popping that will help promote the Sport of Handball.

How you doing Jimmy, I have a question for you. Last week I added a group called "FLORIDA HANDBALL LEAGUE". I have a number of friends who want to be members. I'm having a hard time adding them to my group. I've tried a few things but no luck. I do notice that with some of the groups there is a notation on the top right that says, + join etc. This does not appear in my group site. When I added the group it said 1 member then somebody sent me a comment and he was added to my group and now it says 2 members which is OK. So I need ur help send me some info so my friends can join as members. One thing some of my friends are not signed in, in Handball Space....Thanks Luis

Hi Luis,

When I go to your group, the link at the top to join is active...perhaps since your already a member it is not there? Your friends will need to become a member of HandballSpace.com in order to join your group. You should also be able to invite your friends through the invite link at the top left of the website navigation bar. Let me know if you are still having problems.

Have a Question for u Jimmy?? How can I get a GROUP INVITE in my group the Florida Handball LEAGUE.. For example, When u go to the Allentown gorup A yellow pop up comes ont and ask to ACCEPT or DECLINE to join there group. I can't seem to do the same thing for our group..I f u look under New Invites and right under it it says 1 Group Invite and only the Allentown Group has one..So I'M tryin to be the # 2 Group Invite so when my friend go into the Florida Handball League its easy for them to JOIN the group by just clicking I Accept.. Well this is the best way I can explain my QQQQ.. So please see if u can Help me..

I have no idea, but you can make a test group and see if anything changes. I went to the Allentown group and it is set up and displayed the same as yours...so not sure what your seeing. You can also take a print screen capture...and show me if you like. Thanks, Jimmy

Hey Jimmy Luis here. Have another ??? Is there a way I can send a message to only a few of my Group Members when I need to. The way its set up is when u send a message from the group it goes to all group members. Sometimes I got the need to send a message only to a few local members and since some of our members are fromm NYC they don't need to some messages?? Well have a GREAT DAY.. Hi Louis, that is a good question. If you want to send a message to an individual member...log in to HandballSpace, go to the members page, under thier profile photo, click on the link that says send a message, this will just send a message to this member. Hope this answer helps, I also appreciate the Florida HandballSpace.com promotion. It would be great to have someone with passion like yourself in every major city around the world. I still have not promoted the website myself, I have a box full of club type flyers that I have been meaning to hand out at courts and events in NYC promoting HandballSpace.com and HandballCity.com. But due to other non Handball web projects I am working on, HandballCity.com has not been updated as much as previous years, this is where HandballSpace.com is so special...since members can update the website themselves. I was working online last night so late that I could not even get over to the King of the Courts in Queens, NY today....but I do plan on checking out the Sky Bounce Championship Singles at Central Park, NYC next weekend. Any Idea how to get Sponsors for Local Tournaments down here in South Florida. Do u know of any Companies who might want to help.. We had four touneys so far this year but we do need some help to promote etc.

Hey Jimmy whatz up? Just wanted to know whats going on with the site. Seems like Smack it Sports its taking over. Let us know of any changes etc. Question Some of the Members from my Groups have submitted Pictures but they have not been posted for a while now. They are asking me if I know anything about. Not sure if you know but I was the creator of the original Smack it Sports which was called HandballCity.me.com, and I was very happy when Angel agreed to take it over and has done a great job.

Running a Handball website needs to stay fun, otherwise it would be work...and most people hate to work. I have not made many announcements, but this is not a photo or video sharing website...HandballSpace would need a huge budget for that. So all photos should be placed on photo sharing websites 1st...then cut and past the code to HandballSpace.com You can make these really cool slideshows like the one on my personal page http://www.handballspace.com/profile/handballjim

The same goes for videos, please upload your videos to youtube and use the code to display on Handballspace.

My vision for HandballSpace.com is being the leader in communication among Handballers worldwide. Of course I love photos and videos of Handball, but I would need to come up with a ton of money monthly to allow unlimited photos and vidoes to be posted. So I am thinking of other ways that members can get their photos up. http://www.webshots.com works well for slide shows.

I have received some messeges but too vague...they need to be specific of an issue. This social network runs on a platform that I have very little control over on the programming end.
